Cherish Card for Project Life
Happy Saturday Crafty Bees! Today I’d like to share a few stamps from some of the newest releases used on my little 3×4 Project Life card for a fall layout. I used the same line of paper and embellishments as last week’s card so they would coordinate on my page. I am in love with using twine lately for a little added texture. For this card, I also used heat embossing to add texture. I heat embossed the new 2×2 Lotus Blossom stamp in silver pearl embossing powder 3 times on vellum. I inked them from behind in shades of red, orange, and yellow and then fussy cut them out.
The sentiment was stamped from the new 4×4 Cherish set. The flourish brush script is so pretty, and then all the little words on the set let you build your own message. My card says “Cherish Family.”
Part of my flower hung over the edge after I adhered them to the card under my sentiment so I tacked it to the top edge to use every last piece of those pretty petals and balance out my design.
I hope you will try heat embossing on vellum using some the the great new Honey Bee Stamps! The technique looks so elegant and sweet!
