Hello everyone!! AmyR here with Prairie Paper & Ink with a card and video to get this blog hop started!!

I used the new Penny the Platypus stamp set to create this fun birthday card. I started by stamping and masking the balloon and string images from the set with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Distress Watercolor cardstock. I then used my three “go-to” Distress Ink colors to watercolor the balloons in rainbow order.

I went over the balloons with the Tonic Nuvo Glitter Gloss Brush Pen to add a bunch of shimmer and sparkle.
Penny was stamped onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Copic-friendly ink and coloured in with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen then die cut her with the coordinating Honey Cuts die. I LOVE that the die also cuts around her hands so that you can easily tuck any of the images from the Penny the Platypus stamp set to make it look as if she’s holding them!
I’d stamped and watercolored a gift with the same colors as the balloons and used that for her to hold.
I also stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the new Cheerful Sentiments stamp set and added that to the card with foam tape.

I finished off the inside of the card with sentiments from the Cheerful Sentiments stamp set and that was it!
