Hello friends! Bobbi Lemanski here with a summery card to celebrate the first day of Summer on Tuesday, June 21. I LOVE the summer season and with our crazy spring in Wisconsin, I’m ready to move on to warm, summer days ahead. For this card, I used the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Flippin’ Fabulous stamp set and coordinating dies

The featured 5″ X 7″ project is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together unless noted.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I used a blend of Distress Oxide Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin. I splattered water and blotted it dry to create the splotchy look. While it was drying, I got busy on all things summer!

With black ink, I stamped “Hello Summer” in the middle of the inked, card front panel. Next, I stamped, colored and die cut images representing summer and positioned them around the phrase. I used the following Copic Marker colors:

YR07, YR68, YR65, Y19, Y15, Y08, RV09, RV55, RV02, BG13, BG11, BG10, E43, E42, E02, E00,

I used Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to attach a few of the images so that they would stand out from the others. I also added some pretty aqua sequins, fish and fruit, around the images, too.

Inside the card, I stamped the inside phrase and flip flops from the stamp set, Flippin’ Fabulous stamp set and coordinating dies. I added a few black accent dots (resembles sand pebbles) with a marker to finish this easy-to-create card.
