Good morning!! I hope you are having a good day!! I had a few images from the Spring Peony stamp set that I had heat embossed and colored during the last Daily Marker Challenge that were waiting for a home. I just received a few new jars of Nuvo Glimmer Paste and two of them happened to match the coloring on my flowers and inspiration struck!!

For the first card, the images from the Spring Peony stamp set were white heat embossed onto Bristol paper, watercolored with Tombow markers and fussy cut. There are Coordinating Honey Cuts available, by I don’t have them, so I just cut them out with my scissors. I spread Pink Opal Nuvo Glimmer Paste onto white cardstock through one of the Polka Dot Background Stencils. I used the largest and middle sized dies from the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts to cut two panels from white cardstock. Once the Nuvo paste had dried, that panel was trimmed down and adhered to the largest scallop rectangle. The flowers were adhered to the smaller rectangle, allowing some of the elements to hang off the edge. The smaller panel was adhered onto the polka dot panel with foam adhesive. For the greeting, I used the Bloom stamp set and Coordinating Honey Cuts. This set has so many great, encouraging sentiments…I just love it!! I cut the top layer of Bloom from pink cardstock, the second from white and yellow cardstock and the third layer from vellum. The rest of the greeting was white heat embossed onto pink cardstock and trimmed into strips using the Cut-Align. Both the die-cut and strips were popped up with foam adhesive.

The second card was created in the exact same way, only with different colors.

I also used Platinum Embossing Powder and Tanzanite Lavender Nuvo Glimmer Paste on this one.

That does it for me today!! Enjoy the rest of your week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
