Happy Wednesday Honey Bee friends!! Today I used the adorable Bicycle Builder Honey Cuts and placed it in a field of wildflowers from the Wildflowers stamp set and Honey Cuts! This card really came together very easily, and fast too! Read on for the details.

I began by die cutting two shades of green card stock with the grass and hill dies found in the Horizon Slimline Borders Honey Cuts. These are so very versatile as each die is 8-½” long and works for an A2 sized card, a slimline, or an A7 sized card like mine today! I layered the two pieces and placed them at the bottom of the largest A7 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cut. After I ran them through my die cutting machine, I added glue just to the side and bottom edges of the grass and glue it to the hills. Next I used the same A7 die and cut some white card stock.

Then I used the cloud stencil found in the Outdoor Scene Builder stencil set and inked on clouds in Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide with a Background Blender Brush. Then I used Bee Creative glue to adhere the hill w/grass to the background. I added this to a 5″ x 7″ side-folding card base.

Next I stamped the flowers, butterfly and bees from the Wildflowers stamp set in Bee Creative Intense Black Ink, which is Copic safe, and colored them with my Copic markers. I used the coordinating Honey Cuts to cut them out.

Next I used the Bicycle Builder Honey Cuts to create the bicycle. I die cut the frame from some teal card stock, two times, and adhered the layers together. I die cut the wheel and handle bars from some silver card stock and the tire from black. I used Bee Creative glue to adhered the pieces together. Next I adhered the bicycle to the card with glue. I popped up the green plant in the middle with a few foam squares. The butterfly and bees are also popped up with foam. Then I tucked the flowers in behind the top edge of the grass, glueing just the bottom of the stems so the tops are just kind of floating. I sure do like dimension, do you?

I stamped the sentiment from the My Favorite Flower in Intense Black ink and used the coordinating Honey Cut to cut it out. I totally LOVE how Honey Bee has coordinating dies for so many of their sentiments! I added some thin foam strips to the back and adhered it to the card.

I wish I had a teal colored bicycle to ride through a field of wildflowers!! Want to join me? I sure do appreciate your stopping by today. Have a wonderful remainder of your week!
