Hello everyone! Leanne here and I’m so excited to share a card with lots of sparkle all thanks to an exclusive set of WOW embossing powders – The Bee’s Knees Trio. This gorgeous set of embossing powers is a collaboration between WOW and Honey Bee Stamps.  Right now you can purchase this set only in the Honey Bee shop and I can say with confidence, it’s a set worth having in your crafty stash.  

Today’s card is A2 sized and I started by stenciling a hexagon pattern onto my card front with the Hexagon Patterns Stencil Set and some Wild Honey Distress Oxide Ink.  I then used the Hexagon Patterns stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts with the Bee Kind and Bee Sweet embossing powders from the trio set to create separate hexagon shapes to layer over the stenciled background.

Next I created the Bee Hive Box using some dark grey and white woodgrain embossed card stock.  I adhered it to the card front slightly hanging off the right side and trimmed away the extra.  I die cut three bees to add into the scene with the Honey Bees Paper Piecing Honey Cuts. The bee’s bodies are embossed with Bee True which adds such amazing sparkle to them.

To finish off this card I added an embossed sentiment, again using the Bee True embossing powder.  The sentiment comes from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set.  And for just a touch of embellishment, I added a sprinkling of shiny sequins which come from the Mandala Sequin Mix.
