Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today with some inspiration using a few brand new products from the Autumn Blessings release, which went live last night! There are some absolutely fantastic new products in this release, and one of my favorite new products was the Fall Bouquet Honey Cuts dies. This massive and detailed die set features a beautiful assortment of fall-themed dies, including a mason jar and large pumpkin that you can use as the basis for your “arrangement.” I created a pretty autumn project using a unique pale pastel color scheme with these fantastic new dies. Let’s get started with the details!

I’m not much for orange. I naturally gravitate more towards bright, cool colors…. so the colors of autumn don’t initially speak to me, beautiful as autumnal vistas are. I had to find a color combination that I loved, so I used a cool peach-y pink, pale buttery yellow, and an almost hot pink-red. I began by die cutting the pumpkin, several different types of flowers, and autumn leaves from Fall Bouquet using colored card stock, then used blender brushes to blend some coordinating ink around the edges to add a bit of depth to the individual die cuts.

After I’d finished blending around the edges of all of the die cuts, I assembled my flowers and foliage into a little bouquet atop the pumpkin. I die cut a pale yellow panel using the Hexagon Stipple cover plate die and added a bit of blending in the opposite corner from where I intended to place my pumpkin arrangement.

I adhered the Fall Bouquet pumpkin arrangement to the stippled, quilted background (I love the subtle texture that stippling that the Hexagon Stipple die adds!) using foam tape. I also die cut one of the new Fall Honey Cuts from some black card stock and stamped a greeting from the coordinating new Fall stamp set. I added a few new gems, as well!

Well, that’s all for me today! I hope you’ve checked out the newest release…. so many utterly adorable products available! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Emily, your pumpkin floral arrangement is just wonderful. I’m not a big orange fan either, but when fall is coming, you just gotta break out the orange and rust. Really, really pretty. Thank you.
