A Truly Great Friend
I started by die cutting a bunch of the flowers and leaves from some pastel colored card stock. I used pale yellow, coral, aqua, and light green. I splattered all my card stock prior to cutting with black and white ink to add some interest. For the flower centers I used a dark gray card stock and some basic hole punches to get varying sizes.
I die cut the frame that coordinates with the Truly Great Friend set out of white card stock and some vellum. On the vellum I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I also die cut a background panel from dark gray card stock using the A2 Double Stitched Frames.
After I had all the components prepared I started assembling the card. I used an A2 card base and covered the front with some gray gingham pattern paper. I added the dark gray stitched background panel with foam tape. I adhered the vellum piece with liquid glue by dotting it behind the embossed letters to minimize any show through. I added the white scalloped edge. I then adhered the flowers around and slightly overlapping the frame. Lastly I added some dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Until next Thursday, happy stamping!
