Hi peeps! How y’all doing? Vera here today for you Thursday Honey Bee inspiration.

Today, I am playing with one of the sweet new set called Acorn Sisters. If you love coloring, this set is for you. It’s a fun one to color & the image is simply sweet & adorable.

To start with, I stamped and colored the image with Copic marker. Now, if I had paid any attention to the Acorn Sisters dies, I would have noticed that it’s a solid and not open dies. Whoopsy. This past week been a crazy one for me and I didn’t pay attention. Otherwise I’d have done the die cut first and then stamp & color the image. Instead I ended up doing it backward. Anyway, since I spent so much time coloring the image, I didn’t want to re-do it. So, after done with the coloring and realizing my error, I carefully trying to line up the dies and hoping that I placed the dies above the image correctly. It didn’t quite center, but at least in my book, it didn’t ruin the image either and I can still use it for my card.

Next, I work on the background. Using ink daubers and the 1st layer from Hexagon Layering Background stencil set I inked up the background directly on the card base.

Once that done I stamped the sentiment on the card and then adhere the Acorn Sisters with pop-dots. Finished with some sequins embellishment from Fall Equinox mix.

This card totally makes me feeling cozy and want to pull out my sweater! Well, it’s still too warm for that in Texas of course. Hah! Well peeps, I hope you enjoy your visit here today. Thank you for topping by here and may your Thursday be a fabulous one. Cheers….
