Hello crafty friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski sharing a pocketful of love on this 5″ X 7″ card. With Valentine’s day right around the corner, I’m making my cards now so I’m ready for February 14. I am using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Rainbow Dreams stamp set and coordinating die set

Pierced XOXO Hearts – Honey Cuts

Heart stamp set and coordinating die set

Loads of Love stamp set and coordinating die set

Honey Buzzword stamp set (for the “you’re a keeper” phrase, only)

Love You Bunches stamp set (for the inside sentiment, only)

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this card, I die cut the rainbow from a 5″ X 7″ white cardstock panel. I cut the pocket from white, and the the layers of the heart word from fuchsia pink, red and white (bottom to top layers) cardstock. The layers were glued in place. I stamped the two phrases on the top of the pocket and glued the “heart” word in place. Next, I stamped, cut and colored the pile of hearts and two singular hearts on strings. I used a mix of pinks, reds and purple Copic markers to color the hearts and a Gelly Roll White Pen to add highlights to the balloons.

I color washed watercolor paper in lavender and splattered fuchsia paint over the top. I sandwiched the watercolor paper between the front panel and the white card base and adhered it in place. I added the hearts to the pocket and attached the pocket using dimensional foam tabs. I accented the design with a few Autumn Pearls and Bee Bliss gem stickers in pinks and reds.

Inside the card, I added a heart to the inside (from the Rainbow Dreams stamp and die set) that I colored in using the same pinks/reds and purples. I stamped two phrases right below the heart. The phrase, “You’re a Keeper” is from the Honey Buzzword stamp set and the extraordinary phrase is from Love You Bunches stamp set.
