Hello everyone and welcome back! Laurie here with what is sadly my last Honey Bee Stamps design team post :(. For today’s project, I thought it fitting to make a thank-you card.
I started by using the Stipple Hexagon Cover Plate on a piece of white cardstock. This cuts the outer edges but only leaves a beautiful embossed honeycomb image on the front of the cardstock. I wanted a subtle look but if you used a rubber embossing mat, you would get a much deeper impression!
I then used the Hexagon Bunches Honeycuts and die cut the largest bunch out of some white cardstock. I used Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard See Distress Inks to give each of the die cuts an ombre look. These dies fit perfectly on top of the Stipple Cover Plate. I adhered the outer frame of each bunch and some of the inner hexagons using liquid adhesive and foam mounted a few of the outer hexagons to leave room for the sentiment.
I used the Large Thanks stamp and the Large Thanks Honeycuts to create the sentiment. I gold heat embossed the thanks onto the outline die cut. To give a little dimension, I die cut several of the thanks die. And lastly, I used the sweet little bee and co-ordinating die that was a gift with purchase release! I kept it simple and gold heat embossed those as well. And, of course, I had to add a few of the amber coloured dew drops from the Boho Chic mix.
I want to thank everyone so much for their support during my term! I enjoyed every second of it!!
Take care and see you later!! Hugs!
