Hi there crafty bees!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank our outgoing Design Team for all of their hard work and super creative projects that they have created for Honey Bee Stamps in the last six months. It has truly been a pleasure to work with each of these ladies. I hope they inspired each one of you in one way or another. I have chosen a few of my favorite projects that they created during their time on the team!
“My name is, Kendra, I live in Wisconsin with my high school sweetheart and our two fun energetic kids!! I’m a SAHM in winter and work landscaping in summer! I have a passion for flowers… as well as crafting! I started scrapping 15 years ago as both my husband and I raced at a local race track and I wanted to keep track of our wins and photos. From that it grew into a HUGE obsession! I started scrapping everything and then just over 8 years ago got into making all my own cards! Any spare time I get I love to be in my room creating either by myself or with my kids, who just love to help me (not sure that I am as productive then, but it’s a lot of fun.)” Kendra has an fun crafting blog, which can be found at: luv2scrapnmakecards.blogspot.com
“Hi! My name is Angel Johns. I am wife, stay at home Mama to 2 boys (15 & 5) and we live in a beautiful city north of Atlanta. I have been paper crafting in some sort of way for over 20 years. Scrapbooking was my first love and then I cheated on it with card making and never looked back. I love the idea of hand making a card and sending it to someone to put a smile on their face. I am so excited to be a part of the Honey Bee Design team and use their amazing products as part of my creative process” You can find Angel sharing more ideas on her blog at mywholestampinworld.com
“Hi there, all! I’m Lydia and I live in wet and windy Buckley, Flintshire, North Wales in the UK. I live with my ever understanding husband (he has to be right, with a creative wife that leaves her crafting all around the house), and our two little ones – Archie and Tilly… these two have crafting in their blood and love to stamp with me, most of the time taking over my whole desk.
I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, and do all different types of craft (knitting, crochet, scrapbooking, life pages) but my favorite has to be stamping. I just love how you can take just stamps, ink and white card and create something amazing – your own work of art – and there is always something new to learn and to try.
I’m so happy and honored to have been asked by Melissa to join the Honey Bee family, and can’t wait to start playing, sharing and connecting with Honey Bee Stamps!”
“My name is Nicki Scheck, and I am a wife and mom to twin toddler boys. My background is in Graphic Design, but I’ve been a SAHM for the last two and a half years and have loved spending so much time with my little guys! I enjoy cooking, shopping, watching reality TV, reading blogs, organizing, getting massages, hanging out with my kids, and of course, all kinds of crafts!
I’ve been stamping and making cards since 2001. It’s hands down my favorite hobby. I love the fact that I can be creative and “escape” from the craziness of everyday life. Making cards is one of the most relaxing things for me, and it’s very rewarding to come up with a beautiful creation after starting out with a blank piece of card stock!
I am inspired by other designers, and love seeing what my favorites are up to on their blogs, Instagram, and Pinterest! I would love it if you visited me!” idreamcreateinspire.blogspot.com
“Hello! I live in Central New York with my husband Joe, son Alex (14), daughter Arissa (12) & two sweet kitties, Holly & Ivy. I substitute for the school district, which is the perfect job, leaving lots of time on off days to create!
I’ve always been creative, but I started scrapbooking back in 1999. That led to card-making & paper-crafting, which are now my absolute favorites. I’m a technique junkie – there is always something new to learn, and it’s fun to just experiment! I’m so very excited to be a part of Honey Bee Stamps and this amazing design team!” You can find Kim’s blog at http://kimpletekreativity.blogspot.com
“Hi everyone my name is Holly Endress and I’m so excited to be joining the team here at Honey Bee Stamps! I’m a SAHM with two boys 11 & 14 and my husband is retired from the Navy. I live in a very small town along the PA/NY Border I like to call it “the Boonies”.
I’ve been stamping for over 27 years and I’m a huge supporter of the Arts. I like to dabble in Watercolor and Distress ink mediums as well as coloring with my Copics. You can find my work on my blog Hollybeary Creations and I’m also the owner of the Friday Mashup and the Sunday Stamps Challenge Blogs. I’m currently on several different Design Teams. I can’t seem to get enough of the industry! A Huge Thank You to Melissa for inviting me to be a part of this fabulous Team” You can find Holly’s creations on her blog as well at: www.hollybeary.com
“My name is Tabitha Nicosia and I live in upstate New York with my husband and our one year old daughter (AND our two cats and a dog). I am a certified secondary ELA/Literacy teacher but since teaching jobs in my area are scarce, I’ve settled on working part-time in retail as a shift supervisor. I also do portrait and wedding photography on the side, and appreciate that this has afforded me the opportunity to be home with my daughter while she is young.
I find fulfillment in all things creative and have done crafts of all kinds for as long as I can remember! I was a moderator of Yahoo group for altered art for 5 years, I’ve worked at Joann Fabrics and Michael’s for a stint teaching classes, and for several years I held private workshops and home parties. I have also created and led craft-based after-school and summer mini-courses for students at our local elementary school, and collaborated with art and English teachers to create interdisciplinary activities that promoted creativity and a love of art and reading in students in their classrooms.
I currently teach monthly mother-daughter craft nights in my home, participate regularly in several Facebook Project Life card swap groups, and am constantly taking on new paper crafting projects—whether décor for weddings and parties, props for my photo shoots, commissioned greeting card sets, or working on my own family’s scrapbooks. I love learning new techniques and sharing my passion for art with others. I am grateful for the friendships and connections that are born from a shared interest in creating pretty things to make others happy! I hope that I can help inspire you as well!”
“My name is Carrie Bryant I have been a traditional scrapbooker for around 20 years. I started pocket style scrap booking in 2014. I am blessed to be a stay at home wife and mother. I have been married 24 years and have two teenagers. I also have three dogs. I live in Southern California. I am a creative scrapper and avid stamper. I love layering and adding a bit of embellishment to all my layouts and cards. I am also blessed to have my own scrapbook studio. I love my space, it’s very roomy. This does not however keep me from creating a huge mess. LOL. Being creative is messy and I am very creative.” Carrie runs a crafty blog over at: carrieshappyscrappin.blogspot.com
“Hello everyone! My name is LeeAnn Giroux and I live in Elliot lake, Ontario, Canada. Our community is called a little jewel in the north. My husband and I and my two teenage children Abiguelle and Joël have lived in northern Ontario all our lives. We are a French and English bilingual family.
What an honour to be able to design for Honey Bee Stamps and to work for such a wonderful and talented team of girls. Since I was a young girl I have always love creating and crafting. In my youth I explored making ornaments, painting on candles and cake decorating to express my desire to craft. About 12 years ago a former coworker introduced me to scrapbooking. I was hooked and still scrapbook to this day. I am also happy to share that my work has been published twice in two separate scrapbooking magazines. However scrapbooking has recently taken a backseat to my love for making cards and stamping.
Being from the north my family and I also enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking, kayaking and cooking over an open campfire! I am not so fond of the snow but we are usually buried in it till April! My awesome daughter set me up on Instagram so I can share my cards with all of you in the wonderful crafting world. I have also been dabbling in making teaching videos for YouTube. I hope you will stop by for a visit to my two accounts. My user name for both is leeleescraps.”
Again, I would like to thank each of these amazingly talented ladies. They have been such a wonderful team, and I am so grateful for their support, talent, and professionalism during the past 6 months.
Girls – best of luck in all of your crafty adventures… until our paths meet again!!
Love and hugs,
