Hello! Calling all pet lovers here… the Petastic Release by Honey Bee Stamps is a “tail wagging win” for stampers! There are so many cute pets in this release, especially for dog lovers! There are big, medium, and small dogs to choose from! I’m using the following products for this 5″ X 7″ card:

For the basics… my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To create this card, I stamped all the dogs from the Tail Waggers – 5″x6″ Rubber Cling Stamp set in black ink, on a 5″ X 7″ white cardstock. I also splattered some black watercolor paint over the dog images for a quick and easy background. Next, I added a strip of black cardstock to the center. I added faux stitching using my white Gelly Roll pen to make it look more like a dog collar. I added a shorter rounded edge strip on the right side, that overlaps the other strip. This made the strip look like a dog collar with two metal rings, made from silver metallic cardstock. I had a small flower charm in my stash that I attached to the collar using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue.

Next, I die cut and assembled the blue dog bed, ball, bone and dog dish. I added more white stitching to the dog bed and ball and some shading on the red dog dish. I attached the bed and accessories over the dog collar using foam tabs to make the bed stand out. Finally, I added a sentiment using the Pet-tastic stamps and Pet-tastic coordinating Honey Cuts dies to finish this dog card. This sentiment would be perfect for a dog sympathy card.
