Merry Christmas Eve, fellow crafters!! I can’t believe it’s here!! All the preparations are wrapped up (literally & hopefully), now it’s time to enjoy!! Brenda here with one more Christmas card to share today!! I couldn’t let the holiday pass by without using the Lovely Layers: Vintage Reindeer Honey Cuts at least one time!! You better believe I’ll be pulling this one out next year, too!!
I started by die-cutting all the elements from cream, kraft, brown, black, green, red and matte gold cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Vintage Reindeer Die Set. I added a bit of shading to the deer using Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks and Beeluxe Blending Brushes, then adhered all the pieces together using Bee Creative Glue. The tiny bows are from the Postcard – Holiday Add-On Die Set. They were cut from red and matte gold cardstock.
For the background, I die-cut the pattern paper from the Gingerbread Village Paper Pad with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. It was adhered to an A2 panel of red cardstock. A panel of white cardstock was cut using the scalloped die in the Decorative Star Layering Frames Die Set. The gingham pattern paper is also from the Gingerbread Village Paper Pad. It was die-cut with the eighth smallest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. They were adhered to the background, along with the sweet reindeer, with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment is a combination of the Great Greetings: Holiday Die Set and the Mini Messages: Holiday Stamp Set. The top layer of “holiday” was cut from red cardstock one time and heavyweight white cardstock twice. The bottom layer was cut from heavyweight white cardstock three times. They were all layered and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, then added under the deer. “Happy”, from the Mini Messages: Holiday Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink, cut out with a die from the Mini Messages Banners Die Set and popped up with foam tape. A white gel pen was used to add some highlights to the die-cuts. I added a gem from the Holiday Wishes Gem Sticker Pack to each bow and Glossy Accents to the eye and berries to finish it off.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by!! wishing those of you who celebrate a very Merry Christmas and I’ll see you back here on New Year’s Eve!!
