Welcome to our home… a ghostly house filled with Falloween fun! This sweet ghost would love to share a ghost story with you, in front of a “boo-tiful” burning fire. Cobwebs, a cauldron and one sweet ghost make this place perfect for Halloween! I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Sweet and Spooky Paper Pad

For the basics… my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and most of the die cuts. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue to adhere my layered elements together. When I want more dimension, I use Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on to the elements and the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this 5″ X 7″ ghostly card, I cut most of the elements from white cardstock to create the fireplace, ghost in the chair and all the other “home” elements. I used Halloween pattern paper to make the chair’s cushions and the pillow in the basket, purple cardstock for the rug, book and afghan, and a fuchsia color for the chair’s side and the wall background. I blended Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink onto the fireplace stone and frame accents, and the cauldron. I used Rusty Hinge for the basket, and Spiced Marmalade for the pumpkins. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color the flames in the fireplace and the candlesticks (RV09, RV55, YR15, R21, and YR65). The lampshade was colored with RV55 and RVO9 and 100. I used my white Gelly Roll pen to add white accents to the afghan, chair, lampshade and the additional cobwebs.

For the scene’s background, I embossed a 5″ X 7″ piece of fuchsia cardstock using the Tangled Web 3D Embossing Folder. I ink blended Black Soot and Brilliant White ink around the edges of the front panel. I drew and colored a gray and black faux wood floor strip and attached it to the bottom of the scene. I attached all the elements to the card front panel. Lastly, I added two sentiments to the card, “Ghostly Greetings” and “Boo to you” using the Sweet Halloween stamp set and coordinating Honey Cut dies.
