Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here with you today!! We exchange a lot of gift cards in my family, so I’m always looking for creative ways to give them!! The Vintage Gift Box Die Set and add-ons make it simple create the perfect box for gift cards, cash or even a small gift or treat!!
I started by stamping the images from the Holiday Treats Box Add-On Stamp Set onto white cardstock using red and Intense Black Ink. I colored the candy cane and holly images with Copic markers and trimmed them down. There are Coordinating Dies available, but I wanted a red border around each of my stamped images, so I just trimmed them with my trimmer. I die-cut the Vintage Gift Card Box Dies from red cardstock, folded the die-cuts on the score lines and adhered them all together with with Bee Creative Glue. The stamped panels were adhered to the box, also using liquid glue.
Next, I die-cut a couple of snowflakes from white and silver glitter cardstock with dies from the Lovely Layers: Large Snowflakes Die Set and adhered them to the top of the box. I die-cut a tag from white cardstock using a die in the Tag Builder Die Set and stamped the “To: & From:” in the Tag: You’re It: Holidays Stamp Set with red ink. “Enjoy”, from the Holiday Treats Box Add-On Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I added a hole with my Cropodile and added it, along with the tag, to the box using red and white twine, then tied it into a bow.
The red and white stripes on the sides add a bit more color and finish it off nicely!!
Now I have a few more to make!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great week and a vey Merry Christmas!! I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
