Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week started off well!! Brenda here with a fun scene card to share with you today featuring products from the latest Heartfelt Harvest Release!!
I began by die-cutting the Farmhouse Fields Scene Builder Die from white cardstock and using the Farmhouse Fields Stencil Set to add color with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness for the grass and trees; Antique Linen and Vintage Photo for the tree trunk; and Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo for the fields. I applied the lighter colors with blending brushes, then added the darker colors with my fingers (you could also use sponge daubers, but I like to get into my work…wink). The die-cut scene was adhered to a panel of light blue cardstock with Bee Creative Glue.
Next, I die-cut the elements for my farm from red, white, yellow, brown, black and mirror silver cardstock using the Lovely Layers: On the Farm Honey Cuts, then adhered them together with Bee Creative Glue. Isn’t that little tractor and windmill just adorable?!? The clouds were cut from white cardstock with the Whispy Clouds Die Set. I arranged the scene and adhered everything with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment is from the It Is Well Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape to complete the card.
My cousin is a farmer, so I have a feeling his wife is going to claim this one!!
