Hello friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a three-dimensional get well soon card. I’m combining some previously released products with items from the latest release, Adventure Awaits by Honey Bee Stamps. When I saw the Vintage Gift Card box with the diamond shaped opening, it immediately reminded me of a tissue box, especially when I made the box out of a cute pattern print. Look out Kleenex, we’re making cute little mini tissue holders, now!
While this card does not fold down to mail (due to the sides on the box), it does offers a cute dimensional base to display and attach a helium balloon for individuals that are not able to have flowers in their care rooms (such as intensive care units).

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and sentiments . All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 4-1/4″ tall X 5-1/2″ wide.
To make this card, I started by cutting the box elements from the gingham paper. Before I cut the box, I added the diamond shaped opening die by centering it between the finger cutouts. I assembled the box by attaching the pieces using glue and double-sided tape. I added a decorative stripe of warm gray cardstock and a gingham banner stamped with “Get Well Soon” to the front. I set the box aside to work on the card base.
I cut a 1/2 sheet of cardstock from white cardstock and scored down the middle (to make an A2-size card base). On the bottom half, I stenciled the patina design using the Patina Background Stencil , my blender brushes and Ranger Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. On the top half I blended some Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon blue inks randomly to make a cloudy sky background. The rainbow strips were cut from colorful patterns and solids and the clouds and sun from white cardstock. The sun was inked with Mustard Seed. I attached all of them to the cloudy background. Because the card does not have to fit inside an envelope, I let the sun extend beyond the card’s top edge and attached it with foam tabs to stand out from the background. Tissues was added to the box and the phrases were stamped, cut and attached to the card.
