Hello, everyone! I’m back with another fun card for Honey Bee today! I’m stilling drooling over the new release. So many new products were released this month I feel like the possibilities are endless! Today’s card uses multiple products from the new release. Let’s get started!

I started by die cutting a banner from some Bristol Smooth card stock. Then I treated it with my anti static tool and heat embossed one of my favorite little bees from the Build-A-Bee stamp set. I used white embossing powder for the body. The face I stamped in black VersaMark and used clear embossing powder. I prefer to do this instead of black embossing powder because I always seem to have bad luck with black embossing powder getting my paper all dirty. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in my bee. I also gave the edges around the bee a messy water color look. When everything was dry I splattered water to get some spots. I also splattered some white paint with a brush.

Next I took a cut down piece of Kraft card stock and die cut three lines of hearts in it. I took a white card base and ink blended my Work Lipstick Distress Oxide where the cut out hearts would be. I wanted the color to be very smooth, and Distress Oxide Inks are perfect for that! Once the ink was dry I glued down the Kraft card stock panel over it.

For my sentiment I stamped a build-you-own sentiment from the Simple Sentiments set. I love the font of this set as well as how well it pairs with other sets and works on its own. I popped the banner up with some foam tape after I tied a cute gray and white twine bow on the top. For finishing touches I added some of the hearts that were die cut from the Kraft, and white Nuvo drops-which have been my favorite embellishment lately!

That’s it for this card! I hope you enjoyed it 🙂 It’s been a while since I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, but I was quickly reminded how much I love them! I can’t get enough of these bees either. You’ll be seeing more of them from me soon!! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my card! I hope you have a wonderful day.
