Good morning! Emily here with a card that is so relevant to things happening in the world today. I love that HoneyBee has so many fantastic “kindness” sentiments. The Forest Friends stamp set has such a beautiful sentiment that I couldn’t wait to put it on a card.

I started by heat embossing the little critter quartet from Forest Friends onto some watercolor paper using silver embossing powder. (If I had to do it over again, I probably would have chosen a different shade of embossing powder, because the silver eyebrows aren’t my favorite haha!) I die cut the critters using the coordinating dies, then colored with my Zig markers and damp paintbrush.

Next, I heat embossed that gorgeous sentiment from Forest Friends onto an A2 top-folding using the same silver embossing powder. I used my ink blending tool to lightly blend some pale blue “sky” around the edge of the top of the card, then stamped some of the hearts included in the stamp set using red ink, occasionally stamping off once to create a paler version of the hearts. Finally, I added a few sequins from the Indian Summer sequins pack.

And that’s all for me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

This is a truly lovely card ! You’re right, the silver embossing powder gives a weird light to the bear eyebrows. Oh well ! That’s how we learn, right !
