Hi peeps! How are you all doing? Vera here today. Are you enjoying the cooler fall weather? Here in Texas I don’t get to enjoy the fall color, so at least I am enjoying the nice cooler weather. It’s refreshing after the hot summer.
Well, I am here today with a card that’s inspired by the fall color. I am playing with the fun Happy Fall Y’All set and made this card.
Isn’t the smiling bee just the cutest? For this card, I started by stamping and coloring the flowers and the bees. Then, I die cut them using the coordinating Happy Fall Y’All die cut. Once that done, I put them aside and work on the card base.
Using the top layer of Hexagon Layering Background Stencil, I added texture to the card using some texture paste. Simply spread it around an don’t worry about making it perfect as the uneven texture h ere and there would add interest to the card. And, on purpose I don’t cover the entire card base. Let dry. Once it dry, I assemble everything on the card with pop-dots and stamp sentiment from Forest Friend set and finished by adhering some sequins from the Sunny Day mix.
Oh and since I am a fan of shimmer, especially when working with flowers, I cover the flower with Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker. I just love the way this marker make an image shimmer so prettily.
I hope you enjoy today’s card. Oh, also, in case you didn’t know, I am currently hosting my 8th annual Caring Hearts Card Drive (info HERE) and Honey Bee Stamps is one of the generous sponsor for the card drive. Check it out and I hope you will join our effort of spreading kindness. Thank you for stopping by here and have a blessed day. Cheers….
