Good morning, crafty friends!! I hope you are having a great week!! It’s really starting to feel like the holiday season in the Midwest! The high temperature today is only 27° & the low is in the low teens…brrrrrr!!

I have a holiday card to share featuring some products from the newest Season To Sparkle Release. The Winter Bouquets Honey Cut Dies are so versatile. (They are even compatible with the Fall Bouquets Die Set and word has it that there may be more in the future for other seasons.) I’m sure that you have seen the candle and vase used on projects, so I wanted to highlight the poinsettias and foliage on my card!

I LOVE to use black on my holiday cards! Something about the contrast just makes my go heart pitter-patter!

I began by die-cutting all of the poinsettias, foliage and pinecones from colored, gold foil and red glitter cardstocks using the Winter Bouquets Honey Cuts. Tip: I always cut extra die-cuts and store them in my stamp storage pocket for future use. I added some detail with my COPIC markers and sponged on some white pigment ink for a frosty feel. I swiped the edges of the die-cuts onto my Versamark pad and heat embossed them with Wow! Midas Touch embossing powder for some sparkle.

I adhered the elements in opposite corners of a panel of black cardstock and trimmed away the excess. I splattered the panel with a healthy dose of diluted white gouache and set it aside to dry. The greeting, from Season to Sparkle, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also ran the edges of this die-cut along the Versamark pad and heat embossed with Midas Touch embossing powder.

I popped up the die-cut greeting with foam adhesive in the middle of the black panel. The black panel was adhered to an A2 size panel of red cardstock. A few red and gold gems from the Holiday Traditions gem pack were added for even more sparkle and shine!!

That’s it for me today!! I hope you are staying warm wherever you are! I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
