Sending You A Smile
I’m a big fan of crisp white card-stock with lots of color added to it. That’s just what I did for today. I started by stamping my flowers and leaves, from Country Blooms, in the top left and bottom right corners of my card front. I also stamped them in the corner of a white envelope. Next, I colored them in using Copic colors —> R24, RV14, BG13, Y38 and G99.
Next, I did a little splattering with watercolors. So simple to do and I just love the effect it gives. All I did was wet my paintbrush heavily with water, dip it into my black watercolor and while holding the brush with one hand, gently tap it with the other over your card front and envelope. You can add as little or as much as you want. You really can’t go wrong! 🙂
After I let that dry for a bit, I moved onto my sentiment. I die cut my ‘Smile‘ and then stamped the rest of my sentiment, ‘Sending you a’, onto a strip of white card-stock and attached them both to my card. To finish, I added a strip of pink card-stock along the side and some white twine.
I hope you enjoyed. Wishing you all a very happy day!
