Oh, Snap!

Christmas is coming!  Are you ready?!  I’m not!  The rush has begun in my home–I married into an Italian family and my family all lives out of state…so the holidays are huge and spread out over weeks.  One thing I look forward to doing every year is building gingerbread houses with my niece and nephew after Christmas dinner with that part of our family, and decorating gingerbread houses with my sisters and parents when we get together down south with them right after Christmas.  Needless to say, that’s a lot of gingerbread house decorating to scrapbook–so I joined the Project Life Card Swaps Facebook group’s Gingerbread Card Swap.  I made 8 of these and will get 8 different cards back–plenty of sweetness to aid me in making my album pages!

I double matted my 3×4 card with patterned paper, cut my gingerbread man from my Create A Critter 2 Cricut Cartridge and then hand decorated with a white pen and adhesive rhinestones.

My banner was stamped using my ever growing favorite Honey Bee Stamps set “Brush Grunge Alpha.”  It has been invaluable in alot of my crafting lately since I can personalize anything with this fun font and make my own phrases!
