Hooray for Happy Mail!!!
Hello Everyone!! So what did you guys think of the new release?? Fantastic, isn’t it?!! I still have ideas swirling in my head on how to use these new stamps and word dies…oh my, the word dies!!!!
For today’s project, I mixed an older set with a brand new release. I just received some Happy Honey Mail and was dying to play with one set in particular…Special Delivery!! This set is so super cute and it paired perfectly with the brand new Hooray Honey Cuts Die!! In fact, this set can also be used with the brand new Welcome Words Honey Cuts!! Hmmm, another idea just popped into my head 🙂
I started by die cutting the Hooray word portion of the die set in kraft cardstock and the outside layer of the die in white cardstock. I layered them together with a Zig glue pen. I then stamped the images I wanted to use from the Special Delivery set and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I really wanted to use that adorable snail but in the end, used the crazy sweet mailbox!! I used the co-ordinating Special Delivery Honey Cuts to die cut the images.
The “for happy mail” words are all included in the Special Delivery stamp set. I used foam tape to adhere all my images to the patterned paper scalloped rectangle, then used glue tape to adhere the panel directly to my kraft cardbase.
I love how everything works so well together from Honey Bee Stamps! And this “hooray” die was a genius idea!! I will be using this thing…a lot!
To finish this card off, I used a few of the Boho Chic Droplets and added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Hooray.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I hope you enjoyed my project and I also hope you were able to pick up some of the new release!!
See you next week!!
