Hi Bee friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with two cards featuring the new Hello Fall stamp set from the Honey Bee Stamp’s Autumn Afternoon release. The Hello Fall set features many lovely leaf shapes for Autumn. Today, I’m using everything, but the leaves! I’m going beyond the leaves and sharing two cards that feature other elements in the set. Both cards also feature the new Blessed set, too. Both of these products are versatile and offer many looks. Here’s the list of items I’m using with links to them in the Honey Bee Store:

Blessed to Know You

My first 5″ X 7″ card features the stem images from the Hello Fall set. I’m not using any of the actual leaves and I love how this looks. Imagine this card with red berries and green stems. It could be a really pretty Christmas or winter holiday card!

To make this card, I started by blending teal ink around the edges of this light aqua 5″ X 7″ card front using my NEW Hexagon Palm Blender Brush. Once dry, I stamped the stems from the set in brown. I also stamped stems in Versamark and embossed them in white using WOW! White Opaque embossing powder. I stamped the wheat trio in brown on white cardstock and die cut the image out using the Hello Fall dies.

I die cut all three layers of the “blessed” word die set. The script was die cut from brown cardstock, the shadow in white (cut three layers of this one) and the bottom stitched layer in vellum. I stacked all of the layers together and adhered them using Honey Bee Stamps Precision Glue.

The word was attached to the card front using foam tabs. I embossed the phrase, “to know you” in white on brown cardstock and trimmed it down. I added the wheat bunch and the phrase to the feature word. I also added teal berries using Pearl Pen in teal to the card. Lastly, white sequins from the Tiki Hut Sequin Mix were glued to the front and the card front was attached to a white card base.

Thankful For You Wheat Wreath

My second 5″ X 7″ card features the wheat image in the Hello Fall stamp set. For the background, I cut planks, 5″ wide X 1″ tall out of a warm gray cardstock and added faux graining using a white gel pen and Copics in W5, W3 and W1. I attached the woodgrain planks to a dark teal card front allowing the teal to show through between the planks. I added faux nail heads in each plank corner using Pearl Pen in bronze. I set it aside to dry while I worked on the wreath.

I stamped the wheat image multiple times in teal and gray and die cut them out. I did the same for the acorns in brown. I attached the wheat stalks in a circular fashion and added the acorns to it.

I added a bow made of hemp twine to the bottom stalks. I stamped the small phrase in the middle. Lastly, I added woodgrain sequins from the Tiki Hut Sequin Mix to complete the look.
