Hi peeps! How’s thing going? Vera here today. Like many Houstonian, I am totally whoop today as we stayed up late watching & celebrating the Astros. Granted, I am not into baseball, but hey, when it’s your home team, you just have to root for them, right?
Anyway, in between I was also playing with stamp & making this card for today’s post. Hm, can you say super duper last minute? Hah! But, hey, I made it! 🙂
I decided to play with the classic beauty Zen Garden set, cause I can just stamped it and then color it while watching the game. Then I color the image with Copic markers.
Once I am done coloring, I stamped & heat embossed the word hello from Hello Gorgeous set and then die cut it out using the matching Hello Gorgeous Honey Cuts. Adhere the colored panel to the card base.
Originally, I was going to use the cutout Hello that’s shown above on the pic. I was going to place it with white shadow behind it. Anyway, I am not quite happy with the way it looks. I feel like the word blend in too much and just look too busy. So, I decided to re-do the hello part. So, yep, the above hello part that went bye bye. To re-do it, I simply die cut the hello out of white cardstock and then stamp & heat emboss the word hello with rose gold embossing powder. Finished by stamping the word dear and adding some sequins from Sunny Day sequin mix.
I hope you enjoy today’s inspiration from Honey Bee. Thank you so much for stopping by here and stay tune for our new releases reveal days! Lots of cuteness coming your way. Cheers….
