Hello! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a card I designed for a winter wedding. My husband and I attended a celebration last weekend for a special couple. The wedding was done in blues, ivory and a touch of gold – elegant and delightful. Snowy trees, lanterns, frosted wreaths and glowing candles set the stage for a perfect celebration. I wanted my card for the couple to reflect the beauty of the day. I started with two Honey Bee Stamp sets that are not only elegant, but a perfect pairing for a wedding card:

Cherish stamp and die sets

Everything Wonderful stamp set

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I started with a navy card base (10″ wide X 7″ tall and scored and folded in half). I stamped and embossed in white the floral design in two corners of the card front.

Using colored pencils (on sale right now), I added a little more color to the flowers using blues (roses and florals), maroon and pink (berries) and brown (leaves). I added extra white branches and sprigs to the ends of the bouquets using a white gel pen.

I die cut the “cherish” script word from gold metallic cardstock and black foam and adhered them together. Before attaching the script word to the front, I positioned “each other” on the card and heat embossed it with a matching gold embossing powder.

Lastly, I used a gold gel pen to add sprinkles of metallic gold around the phrase. I also added more sparkle on the flowers and leaves with a Wink of Stella Glitter Clear Brush and some glitter and glue to finish this wedding card. I hope the happy couple enjoyed our card and gift!
