A Bushel And A Peck
Good Monday morning to you, Honey Bee friends! Melissa B popping in today to share a fall themed card with you using one of the amazing new sets, Bushel And A Peck. Does anyone else immediately want to say ‘and a hug around the neck’ every time they say or use this set? 🙂 Makes me chuckle every single time.
To begin my card, I chose an autumn-ish color palette to work with. Red, yellow, orange, peach and a little turquoise. No pink, which is out of my norm!
I started by die cutting a big ole pile of leaves using the Bushel And A Peck die collection! I’m loving these colors all together. A big pile of happy!
I set my leaves aside while I stamped and die-cut the barrel and two of the long rectangles. I cut the barrel in half (don’t worry, I’ll be using that on another project) and attached that to the front, left side of my card base. I added a green hoop to the front of my barrel and then began attaching all of my colorful leaves. My sentiments were stamped on the long die-cut rectangles before I attached them with dimensional foam. And lastly, I added just a few clear rhinestones.
I hope this inspires you to create a few autumn themed cards of your own. Thanks for sharing part of your day with us!
